Register a database, stream its WAL.
VXStream is a REST API. Authenticate with a VXAuth token, register a SQLite database, and VXStream streams its write-ahead-log segments to your storage backend — then take snapshots and restore to a point in time over the same API.
Register a database
# sign in with VXAuth, then register a database to replicate curl -X POST https://vxstream.veeexa.com/api/v1/databases \ -H "Authorization: Bearer $TOKEN" \ -H "Content-Type: application/json" \ -d '{"name":"app","db_path":"/data/app.db","snapshot_interval_sec":3600,"sync_interval_ms":1000}'
Snapshot and restore
# take an on-demand snapshot curl -X POST https://vxstream.veeexa.com/api/v1/databases/$ID/snapshot \ -H "Authorization: Bearer $TOKEN" # restore the database to a point in time curl -X POST https://vxstream.veeexa.com/api/v1/databases/$ID/restore \ -H "Authorization: Bearer $TOKEN"
The API is at
https://vxstream.veeexa.com. Manage databases, generations, snapshots, and restores in the VXStream console. Tokens are issued by VXAuth and verified against its JWKS.
