Frequently asked questions
What is an enterprise capability platform?
A layer that gives your applications stable APIs for common capabilities such as storage, identity, streaming and AI. Providers plug in behind those APIs as adapters, so teams build once and choose providers per environment.
How does Veeexa prevent vendor lock-in?
Applications call Veeexa capability contracts rather than provider SDKs. Switching from one provider to another changes a binding, not your code, and the migration assistant cuts over one environment at a time with rollback.
Where does Veeexa run?
The control plane runs as a managed service or in your own cloud. Runtimes run on AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Kubernetes, on-premises or at the edge.
Does Veeexa add latency?
Runtimes run next to the provider in the same region. Policy evaluation and routing typically add single-digit milliseconds, and every call is traced so you can see the overhead.
Which providers are supported?
Adapters are available for AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, Kubernetes, on-premises systems, OpenAI, Anthropic, Snowflake, Databricks and many SaaS providers, with more in the Veeexa marketplace.
How is governance handled across providers?
Policies, per-capability permissions, approvals, secrets and audit live in the Veeexa control plane and apply to every call, whichever provider serves it.
